Now you and I can have a nice evening the day before your kiddo’s classroom Valentine party instead of frantically scouring Pinterest for a last-minute Valentine gift card idea for 50 fourth graders!

Simply print on card stock or photo paper & cut.  You cut 1/2″ off the right and 1/2″ off the left side.  Then each card measures 3.75″ square.  If you’re feeling extra fancy, you can tape a lollipop or a quarter (for older kids) to the back.  Just cut a small slit in the card & slip a lollipop stick through & tape it on the back.  Now you can check that crazy Valentine’s Day box off your to-do list! ♥

Are you looking for more inspiration or a little something different?  Be sure to check out last year’s Valentine printables, too.

10 sweet messages for new baby girl gift cards

Your friend just had a precious baby girl, and you found the perfect gift! But what to write on the card? I've got 10 sweet messages just for the parents of brand new baby girls. ❤️ #babyshower #babygift

There’s nothing more wonderful than welcoming a new baby into the world. When my boys were born, my favorite time was when they fell asleep in my arms.  They are so snugly when they’re tiny!  A little one’s birth is a moment to celebrate not only for itself, but for the many years of joy and love to come.

I know that the weeks following the arrival of a precious little baby girl are going to be full of many irreplaceable moments:

  • the first time she smiles at you
  • when she wraps her tiny hand around your finger
  • when she stops crying as you hold her
  • laying your cheek in her precious head while she sleeps

Of course, there may also be some difficult moments (dirty diapers and loss of sleep are fairly unavoidable), but in your memories even those will become part of the joy of celebrating the arrival of this precious new little one.

Whether you are the mother, father, family, or friend of the family, you’ll want to remember these moments forever. You may also want to give a gift that shows your love for the baby girl and symbolizes the bond between you. Even though your heart may be full of emotions, it can often be hard to write a gift card that conveys your affection. You may want the entire family to recognize the love you attach to your gift, or you may hope that your new dear one will be able to look back on your note in the years to come. Either way, you want a gift card that is meaningful and sweet. I know how hard it can be to come up with the perfect message. You can use the following ideas verbatim or as inspiration for a lovely note to a beautiful baby girl. These cards are perfect to accompany our Little Girl’s Pearls, but they can be adjusted to accompany any meaningful gift.

You will find the gift messages numbered below – perfect for sharing and pinning!  Below that you will find the messages that you can copy and paste for her perfect New Baby gift card. ♥

Gift Messages to Write in a New Baby Girl Gift Card:

Message #1 – Although you are small, I love you more than words can express. As you grow each day, my love for you grows, too. Know that you are in my heart wherever you go, and I am always her for you to comfort you in life.

Message #2 – Welcome into the world, little one. If I could, I would give the whole world to you.  But it wouldn’t fit in your tiny, sweet hands. I give you these pearls as a sweet little token of my love and of all that I hope to give you as you grow.

Message #3 – Daughter, from the first time you smiled at me, I knew that I was blessed. I am so grateful for your presence in my life and for the pure happiness each of your smiles brings. I promise to do everything I can to protect each of your dreams and to dry all of your tears.

Message #4 – These pearls for you are timeless just as you, my love, are in my heart forever.  These moments I have with you now, your sweet smiles, and the touch of your tiny fingers, will last in my memory forever.  I cannot tell you how much I cherish these moments or how very much I love you.

Message #5 – My little dear, I hope that each time you look at this gift you see it as a symbol of my love for you. Know that my love is everlasting and you are my heart’s joy. Having you here is a gift to me, and I hope that every day I can remind you of how precious you are.

This is one of my most loved quotes of all time.  I studied Shakespeare in England for a summer during college, A Midsummer Night’s Dream was one of my very favorite plays.  I thought this would be perfect a for a nursery or little girl’s room.  She is so very small when she is a new little sweetie, but she will do amazing things as she grows!

a lovely collection of free printable animal Valentine cards

If you’re anything like me, you look at the calendar on February 13th, grumble a little & then surf Pinterest for quick & easy, but cute Valentine’s cards!  This year I decided to take things into my own two little hands – EARLY – and get them finished and ready for Valentine’s Day.

I wanted something colorful, whimsical and a bit more handcrafted than the cards you frantically buy in a box at the grocery store.  But I also wanted something that was easy, quick and had a bit of character.  My sweet sister is an amazing artist.  Years ago she hand-drew and watercolored these sweet little animals for our Whimsy Kisses shop.  I thought they were just perfect for this project!

Simply print on a piece of card stock or thick matte photo paper and cut them out.  Have your kiddos (or you) fill out the “to” and “from” and voila – sweet little Valentine cards that are both unique and surprisingly frugal!  If you’re feeling extra crafty, you can punch a hole in them, add a bit of twine or ribbon & tie them to a treat like a lollipop, a cutie orange or a small toy.  Hooray!  Valentine’s Day is checked off your never ending “to do” list!
