Hello, I am Julie Miller, owner of Little Girl’s Pearls. As you can see, I have two wonderful little guys who keep me hopping and are the joys of my life! I am also blessed with an amazing husband (who started out as my high school sweetheart) who supports me in every aspect of our journeys together. Our family lives in Lompoc, a lovely little town on the Central Coast of California.
I started Little Girl’s Pearls to create a line of jewelry that would have meaning for years to come. As my boys grew, I found myself saving little “keepsakes” from when they were very small. I think everyone should have meaningful items that are lovely and beautiful, mementos they hand down from generation to generation. Heirloom pearl jewelry, given to little ones as babies or young girls, is a lovely remembrance of their youth and their loved ones. How fun to receive pearl jewelry as a young girl that grows with you through graduation and can even be attached to your wedding bouquet! That precious item can then be handed down to your daughter and granddaughter as well.
To make this jewelry special, each piece is custom made with the loving support of my family. I take great care to pay attention to the details, because I want to do more than just create beautiful jewelry. I also want our customers to feel like family. I truly enjoy creating these lovely heirloom pieces and hope you treasure them as well. We love to hear from you about your gifts and those intended to receive them. Your comments and suggestions are always welcome.
I often get questions about our little corner of the web. I started designing jewelry in the summer of 1999, and I plunged into cyberspace in 2001. I design my own web pages using beautiful graphics that I commissioned, purchased from collections I fell in love with, or created myself. The pictures represent my journey into the amazing world of digital photography and my collaboration with several outstanding local photographers. I just adore playing with color, texture and composition! I design and create the jewelry, watch over the website, develop my print materials and handle the marketing. It’s not as overwhelming as it sounds, for I appreciate being involved in every aspect of our enterprise.
If you’re just starting out or ever want to chat about entrepreneurial topics, I’m more than happy to share. I am no expert, but I enjoy helping others on their own journey as they present what they love to others.
Blessings from our family to yours,
~ Julie Miller ♥
