I love little animal friends, and I wanted to share some with you. When I was a kid, I grew up in Fair Oaks, California. We lived on an acre backed up to a lush, green, oak-laden ravine and wild park land. We spent countless hours exploring the overgrown bamboo patch, traipsing through the tall grasses to the bottom, and making tiny boats to race down the stream (during the times we actually had a bit of rain).
We had families of foxes take up residence in the ravine over the years. Spring was always fun because the tiny baby foxes are just the cutest little things!
While we had a sweet doggie, there were always kitties around. They would prowl for mice and gophers, and would sing their howly kitty song at night.
We would shimmy down the grassy hill to the bamboo patch and pretend that we would see pandas climbing up the tall stalks that rustled in the breeze.
Our bunny rabbit, Hopper, was a gift from our biggest sister one Easter. He was black, silky, and so soft. He would get enough speed running around our round geodesic dome that he would actually start running on the walls! So here’s a fun little bunny to hang on your wall.
The file is a PDF and is set to print each of the 8 x 10 prints on a regular 8 1/2″ x 11″ sheet of letter size paper on your printer. If you’d like to trim them to fit an 8×10 frame, you can trim off 1/4″ from the top and bottom and 1/2″ from each side. If you run across any questions, just let me know.
What was your favorite little animal friend when you were growing up?
